Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. -Mahatma Gandhi

More wisdom from the mahatma:

  •           The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not everyman’s greed
  •           You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; If a few drops of the ocean are dirty the ocean does not become dirty.
  •           You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing there will be no result
  •           Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it
  •           Freedom is not worth having if it doesn’t not include the freedom to make mistakes
  •           To believe in something, and not to live it , is dishonest
  •           You must be the change you want to see in the world
  •           The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems

Gandhi's Prayer for Peace

I offer you peace.

I offer you love.

I offer you friendship.

I see your beauty.

I hear your need.

I feel your feelings.

My wisdom flows from the highest source.

I salute that source in you.

Let us work together.

For unity and peace.
